This Privacy Policy explains what information the Sunset Cam Club ("the Club," "we," "us") collects when you sign up to receive lake photos by email, why we collect it, and your choices. The Club is operated by Logan Martin Webcams, LLC ("Logan Martin Webcams™").
We deliberately collect as little as possible:
We do not ask for your name, phone number, address, or payment information. The Club is free.
We will never use your email for anything you didn't sign up for, and we will never sell, rent, or trade your information.
Where the EU or UK GDPR applies, we process your personal data on the basis of your consent (Article 6(1)(a)) — the opt-in you give when you join, confirmed by the double opt-in link. You may withdraw consent at any time (see Your rights), and withdrawing it is as easy as giving it. Our minimal deliverability and suppression processing additionally rests on our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)) in operating a clean, lawful mailing list and meeting anti-spam obligations.
To actually send email, we use Amazon Web Services (Amazon SES) as our email-delivery processor, under AWS's data processing terms. They process your email address solely to deliver our messages on our behalf and are contractually bound to protect it. We do not share your information with advertisers or data brokers.
We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of the Club or others.
We operate from the United States, and our email processor (Amazon SES) processes data in the United States. If you are in the EU, EEA, UK, or another region with cross-border transfer rules, your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S. Where required, these transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards — including the Standard Contractual Clauses incorporated into our processor's data processing terms. By subscribing, you understand your data is handled in the U.S.
The Club's photos are still frames captured from our public webcams overlooking Logan Martin Lake. They show a public outdoor scene. We do not use the cameras to identify individuals, and we do not associate photo content with you.
The sign-up page uses only what's necessary to operate the form. We do not run third-party advertising or cross-site tracking. Our emails may include a standard open/delivery pixel used only in aggregate to monitor deliverability — never to build a profile of you.
You can unsubscribe at any time via the one-click link in every email, and change your time-slot preferences from the manage link. To exercise any right below, email contact@loganmartinwebcams.com — we respond within the timeframes required by law (usually much sooner) and never charge for it.
Depending on where you live (including under the EU/UK GDPR), you have the right to:
U.S. state-law rights (e.g., California/CCPA) are honored through the same address. If you are in the EU or UK and believe we've mishandled your data, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority — though we'd appreciate the chance to resolve it first.

We keep your email and preferences for as long as you're subscribed. If you unsubscribe, we remove you from active sending; we may retain a minimal suppression record (so we don't accidentally email you again) and basic logs as required.
The Club is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. By subscribing you confirm you are at least 13 years old (and that you are 18+ or have a parent/guardian's permission). If you believe a child has subscribed, contact us and we'll remove them.
We use reasonable safeguards to protect the limited information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we keep the data minimal precisely to limit risk.
We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date above will change, and material changes will be noted to subscribers. Continuing to use the Club after an update means you accept it.
